Project Goals & Challenges
Client’s Vision
Creating a cohesive and up to date look and feel for the hotel’s lobby so that guests can sit and enjoy their coffee and/or pastries while waiting for their hotel check-ins and outs. Whereas the hotel staff can have a proper working space to work and proper office space for the hotel manager.
Main Challenges
The building structure and furniture was pretty old so we had to ensure the safety of the building when taking them out before any work was done.
Unique Aspects
As we did this project remotely, we could not get work accuracy based on the existing electrical and plumbing structure, so we had to follow the instructions to the best of their project manager’s knowledge to design the space accordingly.

Brand Identity Integration
Kavy Boutique Hotel embodies a warm, inviting atmosphere with a touch of nostalgia, and our design seamlessly reflects this identity. The Mid-Century Retro theme was carefully curated to align with the hotel’s brand essence—balancing classic charm with modern comfort. The rich wood tones, brass accents, and elegant green hues create a timeless yet welcoming ambiance that enhances the guest experience. To reinforce brand consistency, we incorporated custom-designed furniture, statement art pieces, and a signature marble coffee bar, offering a visually cohesive space that reflects the hotel’s boutique luxury.
Functional Layout
Every design choice was made with efficiency and guest convenience in mind. The dual-purpose reception and coffee bar station optimizes space by streamlining check-ins while allowing guests to enjoy a quick coffee break. The custom-built pastry box integrated within the coffee bar maximizes functionality without adding clutter. The seating arrangement ensures a comfortable flow of movement, allowing guests to relax without obstructing operational areas. Additionally, the hotel staff workspace and manager’s office were strategically positioned to provide privacy while maintaining accessibility, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
